Canada Bill of Sale

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the service uses, where it is handled, and the choices you have.

Last updated: August 31, 2026

1. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy applies to Canada Bill of Sale and its website, bill-of-sale builder, checkout, and related support services (collectively, the “Service”). We are a private service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any Canadian government or provincial authority.

2. Information you enter

The agreement builder can contain information you choose to enter, such as item details, sale information, names, addresses, contact information, and additional terms. Your agreement drafts are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. We do not operate a database that stores your completed agreement drafts.

Because drafts are stored in your browser, anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to access them. You can remove local drafts by clearing this site’s browser storage or clearing site data in your browser settings.

3. Information used to build your questions

When you start an agreement, we send the item description and the selected Canadian province or territory to OpenAI to generate a tailored set of optional document questions. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in the item description. The Service is designed so that the later agreement answers and party details stay in your browser rather than being sent for question generation.

4. Payments

Payments are processed through Whop. Whop collects and processes the checkout and payment information needed to complete your purchase under its own privacy practices. We receive and use a payment reference and payment status to confirm that your one-time purchase was completed and unlock the document. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

5. Security, fraud prevention, and hosting

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish human visitors from automated abuse and Upstash Redis to apply rate limits to agreement generation. For rate limiting, the Service derives a salted hash from network information rather than storing a plain IP address as the rate-limit identifier. Our hosting providers may also process technical information, such as request logs, to operate and secure the Service.

6. Analytics

If analytics is enabled, we use PostHog to understand aggregate use of the Service, such as the stage of the builder reached, counts of questions answered, feature usage, and campaign attribution parameters. We configure analytics not to send agreement text, party contact details, payment references, session recordings, or person profiles. PostHog analytics uses local browser storage rather than analytics cookies in this Service.

7. How we use and disclose information

We use information only to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service; process payment; respond to a request; and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We disclose limited information to service providers only as needed to provide the functions described above, including OpenAI, Whop, Cloudflare, Upstash, PostHog, and our hosting providers.

8. Retention and your choices

Browser-stored drafts remain on your device until you delete them. Service providers may retain limited operational, payment, security, or analytics records under their own retention policies and as needed for legal, fraud-prevention, and accounting purposes. You may contact us to ask about personal information we hold or to raise a privacy concern.

9. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, email jayme@artiaid.com. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable privacy law.
